Rutledge Primitive Baptist Church

To whom It May Concern:

The Primitive Baptist Church located in the Rutledge Cemetery was recently donated to the Town of

Rutledge due to the fact there was only one member still living. A group of concerned citizens met on

October 3, 2005, and formed a committee to save and restore the Primitive Baptist Church. This

building is also a historical building that can be used by the Town as well as friends and relatives of

loved ones buried in the Rutledge Cemetery. The first thing that needs to be done is to replace the

roof. We are asking for donations to be made payable to: Rutledge Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 85

Rutledge, Al. 36071.

During your family get togethers share this information and compile addresses for this cause. Please

forward addresses for family members, we would like to include them in our updates on the church

renovations.
